CyberGhost VPN is a legal service that allows users to protect their online privacy and access geo-restricted content. The use of VPNs is legal in most countries, including the United States and European Union. However, it is important to note that while using a VPN is legal, the activities conducted through the VPN may still be subject to local laws and regulations. It is always advisable to use a VPN in accordance with the laws of the country in which you are located. **

CyberGhost VPN may lag due to a variety of reasons, including slow internet connection, server overload, or high network traffic. Additionally, the encryption and decryption processes that occur when using a VPN can also contribute to lag. It's important to note that the level of lag experienced can also depend on the user's location and the distance between their device and the VPN server. To minimize lag, users can try connecting to a server closer to their physical location, upgrading their internet connection, or using a VPN with optimized servers for faster speeds. **

CyberGhost VPN works by creating a secure and encrypted connection between your device and the internet. When you connect to a CyberGhost server, your internet traffic is routed through that server, masking your IP address and encrypting your data. This helps to protect your online privacy and security by preventing third parties from monitoring your online activities. Additionally, CyberGhost VPN allows you to access geo-restricted content by changing your virtual location to a different country. **

CyberGhost may slow down a laptop slightly due to the encryption and rerouting of internet traffic that occurs when the VPN is active. However, the extent of the slowdown will depend on various factors such as the speed of the internet connection, the processing power of the laptop, and the server load of the VPN. In general, the slowdown is usually minimal and should not significantly impact the overall performance of the laptop. **
