In Skyrim, purchasable Smithing Elixirs can be obtained from various merchants and alchemists throughout the game. These elixirs can typically be found in the inventory of alchemy vendors, general goods merchants, and court wizards. Additionally, they can also be looted from certain enemies or found as random loot in dungeons and other locations. Players can also craft their own Smithing Elixirs by combining the appropriate ingredients at an alchemy station. **

One way to quickly level up in smithing in Skyrim is to craft iron daggers. Iron ingots and leather strips are easy to come by and crafting iron daggers only requires one of each. Another method is to improve weapons and armor at a grindstone or workbench, as this also grants experience in smithing. Additionally, completing the Unfathomable Depths quest in Riften will grant a permanent bonus to smithing experience gained. **

One way to quickly level up the smithing skill in Skyrim is to gather as many raw materials as possible, such as iron ingots and leather strips, and then craft a large number of low-level items like iron daggers or leather bracers. Another method is to purchase raw materials from blacksmiths and merchants and then use them to craft items. Additionally, completing quests and finding rare materials can also help in leveling up the smithing skill faster. Finally, using the Warrior Stone or sleeping in a bed with a spouse can provide a temporary boost to skill leveling. **

You cannot learn smithing from Eorlund Gray-Mane in Whiterun because he is a master blacksmith and member of the Companions, a group of warriors, not a teacher or trainer. Eorlund focuses on creating and improving weapons and armor for the Companions, rather than teaching others his craft. If you want to learn smithing in Whiterun, you can visit Adrianne Avenicci at Warmaiden's, who is a skilled blacksmith and may be willing to teach you. **

Leveling up the smithing skill in Skyrim can take a significant amount of time, especially if you are starting from a low level. It requires a lot of materials and time to craft and improve weapons and armor in order to gain experience points. However, there are ways to speed up the process, such as using the Transmute spell to turn iron ore into silver and gold ore, and then crafting jewelry to level up faster. Additionally, completing certain quests and finding skill books can also help to boost your smithing skill more quickly. **

The Spellbreaker shield cannot be upgraded to legendary because it is a unique item with a set level of quality. Unique items like the Spellbreaker shield typically have predetermined stats and cannot be further improved through upgrading, regardless of the player's Smithing skill level. This is to maintain balance in the game and preserve the uniqueness of such items. **
